StageCoach comes to Quebec!
In September 2012, StageCoach Theatre Arts will open its doors for the first time in Montreal. Founded in 1988, StageCoach is the leading provider for children's performing arts education across the world. Soon to be Principal, Johanne Hudon-Armstrong said, "I'm thrilled to bring StageCoach Theatre Arts to Montreal, the home of Cirque Du Soleil and one of the most cultural and dynamic cities of Canada."
The school based in Beaconsfield, (Montreal), Quebec, is one of three new schools opening across Canada this Fall. New Principal Carmella Long launches in Toronto North and former StageCoach teacher Tosha Doiron opens her first school as Principal in the Greater Toronto area in Oakville, Ontario; while Julia Johnston, our experienced Principal in Peterborough, ON, opens her second school in Durham Region (Courtice)
Stephanie Manuel who founded the StageCoach network 25 years ago in a few small rented rooms in Greater London, England, said "We are incredibly excited about the steady expansion throughout Canada and are delighted that StageCoach Theatre Arts can offer more children around the world life skills and confidence building tools through the performing arts, all of course whilst having lots of fun! We wish all of our new Canadian Franchisees every success with their new schools and look forward to hearing all the student news!"
