Grand Opening!!
We are thrilled to announce the opening of Stagecoach Richmond!
Founded in Britain in 1988 and today with over 40,000 students worldwide, the first Stagecoach School opened in Canada in 2006.
Kids get a chance to sing, dance and act in this phenomenal part-time Performing Arts School that has taken the world by storm. We welcome students of all ages and abilities. Previous experience is not necessary --- all we ask is that students are enthusiastic and keen to learn. We offer a fun experience where creativity is nurtured and technique and style are developed each week. As students learn to act, sing and dance, they become more confident, poised and self-assured. These are skills for life!
Our instructors are all professionals in their field and experienced teachers. They share a common passion for imparting their knowledge and experience to the next generation.
Classes run Saturday mornings:
Early Stages, for students aged 4-6, introduces preschoolers to the joys of singing, dancing and acting with 1.5 hour weekly sessions.
Our main school provides older students, aged 6-16, with 3 hours of instruction each week. Students are divided into three stages by age and attend one hour classes in acting, singing and dancing.
Twice a year we give presentations to family and friends. One takes the form of a demonstration of class work, and the second is a musical theatre style show. All of the students enormously enjoy the experience of performing for a live audience. And the skills learned on stage don't disappear when they come off stage - the confidence they gain will remain with them throughout their life!
