Principal - Lisa Oppenheim - B.SC., B.Ed., Dip. Theatre Arts
Lisa Oppenheim first became involved with Stagecoach as a drama teacher in 2007. She was immediately impressed with the program's dedication to its students. Lisa is a B.C. Certified Teacher, holding a Bachelor of Education from Simon Fraser University. She has been teaching in various locations since 2003 and also provides professional development for teachers who wish to incorporate drama into core curricular instruction.

Her own tenure in theatre began at the age of four, when she appeared in a play directed by her mother. Continuing to take extramural Speech Arts and Drama classes and appearing in numerous shows as she was growing up, Lisa went on to graduate from the Studio 58 Acting program at Langara College. She has been acting professionally since 2003, and some of her favorite productions have been geared towards young audiences. She toured BC elementary schools with Green Thumb Theatre's production of The Skinny Lie as 'Jessie', and she appeared as 'Alice' in Western Canada Theatre's musical production of Alice: A Wonderland. This past March Lisa appeared in Hive 3, a Cultural Olympiad production. She also works as a Director and Writer.
Dance Coach - Linzi Voth - Dip. Musical Theatre
Linzi started dance lessons at age 5 when her mother noticed that she would 'dance' instead of run between bases during tee ball! She grew up at Douglas Ballet Academy studying ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap and hip hop and has a Musical Theatre Diploma from Capilano College.

Linzi has been teaching theatre and dance since 2005 at Dance With Me Studio (where she picked up some ballroom skills), Gateway Academy and the North Van Rec Centre. Her students range from 2 - 70 years old! She also works as a Behavioral Interventionist for young children who have Autism. She is happiest when on stage in a musical. She has recently appeared with TUTS, Royal City Musicals, and Gateway Theatre. She likes to volunteer as a summer camp director and program leader at Camp Artaban when she can get away from the city. Linzi is even contemplating some further education, maybe in performance and maybe in management...

After filling in for a few weeks last year, Linzi is excited to be this year's dance coach in Richmond and Surrey! Tie up your dance shoes and let's get moving!
Singing Coach - Ainsley MacCallum-Reid
Ainsley was born and raised in White Rock, B.C. She began her music studies at a young age, beginning with piano at age four. After finding her singing voice, she began vocal training at age seven. Pursuing her vocal training became a passion, and she continued to delve into many vocal genres, from classical to musical theater, and pop to jazz. Throughout her high school years Ainsley was extremely involved in the music program, including the Vocal Jazz ensemble, Choir, and the Teachers Aide Program, where she learned to first instruct young musicians. She continued her private vocal instruction with University of Alberta's Sandra Stringer Conlon, who influenced Ainsley to follow her dreams.

Ainsley enrolled in Capilano University's Music Diploma Program, and began her extra curricular education with a Major in Opera Performance. Ainsley excelled in Performance and studies, and competed and won many competitions, including Capilano's Top Music Scholarship. She also competed and won Songfest Vancouver two years in a row. After completing her education at Capilano University, Ainsley continued to pursue her love of music through teaching and performance, and continued involvement with Choirs around the lower mainland. Ainsley looks forward to teaching and inspiring children to love and cherish music through StageCoach as the singing instructor for both Richmond and Surrey!
