How long do the parties last and how many Party Entertainers are needed?
For children aged between 4 - 6 years, the parties run for 2 hours. We can cater for up to 15 children with one Party Host and up to 30 with additional party staff. For the 7 - 10's our parties run for 2 hours and 30 minutes and we can cater for up to 20 children with one Party Person and up to 30 with additional party staff. All parties run from a Stagecoach venue run for 2 hours only. Murder Mystery Parties run for 2 hours and 30 minutes and there is one party entertainer.
Where can I have a Stagecoach Party?
Some Stagecoach Principals run parties from their own party venues. If this is not the case, Stagecoach Parties come to you, either at your home or at a venue that you have hired. We usually recommend a clear space of at least 7 x 7 meters (about 20ft) without obstacles or hazards. If the party is being held at home, any ornaments or breakable objects should be put out of reach. Stagecoach Parties can also be run outside, weather permitting.
Can parents watch the party?
We strongly advise that parents and friends do not remain in the same room during the party. As well as being a distraction, the presence of multiple adults may also inhibit the children and therefore they will become more reluctant to join in. However, parents are invited to watch and take part in the last 10 minutes of the party during which the children will show some of the party activities. Stagecoach staff are the entertainers for this event. The organiser of the party is responsible for the wellbeing of all the children attending, therefore we do as ask that one adult be on hand in the party room at all times.
Can younger or older children join in?
Stagecoach Parties are designed for a specific age-range and are therefore not suitable for much younger or older children. However, it may be possible for siblings to take part during the party games depending on the age-group, but this must be discussed with your local Stagecoach Party Provider.
How do I know that the Party Host will be good?
Our Party Hosts are our most experienced Stagecoach teachers and highly skilled at involving all children in their activities. They have all been trained and have been checked through the CRB for suitability to work with young children. All our Party Hosts will be extremely knowledgeable about all the themes, games and activities. Please follow their advice wherever possible.
What happens after I have paid my deposit and made a booking?
Your local Stagecoach Party Provider will send you a letter confirming all details including the name of your Party Host and themed invitations to send out to your guests. A few days before the party, your Party Host will call you to find out about your child and go through all the details.
Do you provide food?
We do not provide food. It is the responsibility of the parent to provide food and birthday cake at all the parties.
Do you provide Party Bags?
Yes, we can provide our own Stagecoach Party Bags. We provide a boy bag and a girl bag, contents include a book and 3 other items, for example: a stationary pack, bracelet, bouncy ball. We do not include sweets or chocolates in the bags however we can leave them open if you would like to include birthday cake or any other extras. Please discuss costs with your local party provide.
Do you provide costumes?
The Party Host will be in full costume of the chosen theme and we provide a selection of accessories to for the children to use during the party. The children may come in fancy dress to the party if they wish but it is optional.
