Meet our Principal
Roxanne has loved the arts from an early age and is passionate about the power of performance, storytelling and creative expression. She has seen how the arts help children build creativity, confidence, communication, teamwork, leadership and empathy. Combining this with her passion for working with young people inspired her to open Stagecoach Pickering/Ajax. Roxanne and her team are excited to bring Creative Courage for Life to their community.

Nikaylah Clarke
Early Stages Teacher
Nikaylah, an R&B singer/songwriter based in Toronto, performs as Lenae Raye. She holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Western Ontario and an Ontario College Diploma in music production from Fanshawe College. With five years of classical training, she teaches children aged 5-14, focusing on collaboration and creativity. Nikaylah has performed at venues like London Music Hall and Covent Market. Her passion for harmonies, sparked by church choirs, informs her artistry and teaching.

Jenna Purdie
Early Stages Assistant
Jenna joins Stagecoach Ajax and Pickering as an Early Stages Teaching Assistant. With over 10 years of trumpet experience and a passion for the performing arts, she brings energy and creativity to her classes. She has volunteered with elementary children at her local library, fostering a love for reading. Starting her university journey this September, Jenna is excited to support young performers through warm-ups, encouragement, and celebrating their achievements on stage.

Shannon Clarke
Main Stages: Singing Teacher
A passionate Canadian vocalist, vocal coach, and original artist, Shannon has been singing since age nine and helping others find their voice for six years. Classically trained and influenced by gospel, jazz, and pop, they bring vocal technique, creativity, and musical expression to every lesson. With seven years of experience training youth and directing choirs, Shannon creates a fun, encouraging space where students can build confidence, take risks, and discover what makes their voice special.

Mark Stocks
Main Stages: Drama Teacher
Mark Stocks is an Ajax-based theatre artist excited to join the Stagecoach community. He began performing at 11 and has appeared in shows like In The Heights and Beauty and the Beast. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Performance & Music and Culture from the University of Toronto. He believes in fostering creative courage and providing students with tools to build confidence in a supportive environment.

Mariana Duarte
Main Stages: Dance Teacher
Mariana is a dancer and choreographer with over 20 years of experience in various styles, including ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, and musical theatre. She choreographs for musical theatre, weddings, and special events, focusing on engaging movement that emphasizes storytelling, spatial awareness, and connection. Her approach helps dancers feel confident and present on stage.

Amenze Ogundogie
Main Stages 1 Assistant
Amenze has been singing since age four and performing since eight. In high school, she trained in musical theatre and performed with Concordia Concert Choir and Euphonix Show Choir. She earned a full‑ride scholarship to the Masterclass Triple Threat Intensive in 2024. Her passion for teaching grew as a Stagecoach summer camp singing instructor in 2026, where she loved helping students build confidence and creativity!
