Meet the team
Meet our Principal
Kristi Wenaus is a lifelong theatre enthusiast who began performing at age five. She studied Theatre Arts at Dalhousie University and worked professionally as a singer and actress in film and stage, including nearly 10 years performing worldwide with Princess Cruise Lines. After returning to Nova Scotia, Kristi pursued International Business Development and Marketing. She is proud to bring Stagecoach to Atlantic Canada and empower children through the performing arts.

Brenna Conrad
Manager
Brenna Conrad is a professionally trained soprano with over 15 years of experience in vocal performance, music education and music ministry. She studied at the University of Toronto and has performed as a soloist with the Nova Scotia Tattoo for over 16 years. Brenna also co-conducts Impact!, a youth choir, and runs a private vocal studio in Truro. She is excited to bring her passion for music and education to Stagecoach Nova Scotia North.

Sheena Henderson
Singing
Sheena Henderson has spent most of her life in Truro, NS, except for the time she spent studying music at the University of Ottawa. She is a teacher, currently at Cobequid Educational Centre where she teaches Academic Support while co-directing the CEC Choir and directing the CEC musicals. She has been a member of a number of choirs and ensembles, mostly in the Truro area, and she maintains a small voice studio.

Victoria Carter
Early Stages
Victoria Carter is an Early Childhood Educator who has a passion for shaping the minds of young children. She has a background in Irish dance (and has had the opportunity to compete all across Canada) as well as ballet. She participated in many musicals growing up such as 101 Dalmatians and High School Musical while at Redcliff Middle school. Victoria will be teaching the Early Stages program and can’t wait to share her love of the arts with the children.

Emma Smit
Drama
Emma Smit-Geraghty began her performing arts journey in Truro and earned a Musical Theatre certificate from Sheridan Institute. She has taught voice, dance, acting and tap at several performing arts schools, including Stagecoach. Her directing credits include Guys and Dolls, Into the Woods and The Little Mermaid. Emma is also a member of the band Brigid, which has earned multiple #1 singles. She is passionate about sharing her love of music and theatre with young performers.

Kilah MacCoul
Dance
Kilah MacCoul is thrilled to join Stagecoach Truro as a Dance Instructor! A Bishop’s University Drama graduate, Kilah grew up dancing at Cobequid Dance Academy and performing with Neptune Theatre’s Youth Production Company. Her passion continued through university, where she performed in theatre festivals and Godspell, and choreographed for the Bishop’s University Charity Fashion Show. She is excited to share her love of performing with Stagecoach students!
