Further Stages
Performing Arts Classes for Ages 14–18
For students aged 14–18, Further Stages offers a more advanced performing arts experience through three-hour weekly classes in singing, dancing and acting. It is a place for older students to challenge themselves, grow in confidence, work with others and keep developing their creativity, whether they see performing arts as a future path or simply something they love.
Contact your local school for term costs, dates and payment options. A Two-Week Trial is available for $100, which will be deducted from the full term cost if your child continues.

At Further Stages, students continue developing their skills across singing, dancing and acting in a more focused and challenging environment.
Acting skills
Students explore acting for different texts, styles and media, while developing character, confidence and wider theatre skills such as directing and staging.
Dancing skills
Students build accuracy, strength, attention to detail and confidence through more challenging choreography and movement work.
Singing skills
Students work on singing with confidence, accuracy and expression across a range of styles, while developing performance technique and stage presence.

Further Stages also helps students develop key life skills, including:
Audition and Interview Skills
Students gain experience presenting themselves with confidence in audition, interview and performance settings.
Self-Awareness and Personal Development
Students become more aware of their strengths, progress and areas for future development.
Adaptability Under Pressure
Students learn how to respond, problem-solve and perform with confidence in changing situations.
Leadership
Students are encouraged to take initiative, support others and grow as confident young performers.
The Practical Stuff

That’s not all though as our students develop key life skills at Further Stages, including:
School terms
Terms are approximately 9–12 weeks long and are usually split into Fall, Winter and Spring, following the public school calendar, with breaks over the holidays.
Three-Hour Classes
Further Stages classes consist of one three-hour session each week during term time, with time dedicated to singing, dancing and acting.
Two-Week Trial
A Further Stages Two-Week Trial costs $100. If your child continues after the trial, the trial fee will be deducted from your first term’s total fee. The Two-Week Trial must be taken within the first four weeks of a Stagecoach term, and the two trial weeks should be consecutive.
Term Fee
The term fee for Further Stages ranges from $450–$620. Costs vary depending on the length of the term. Visit your local school for fee and term information. Term fees can be paid in a few different ways; speak to your local Stagecoach Principal about available payment options.
