Weekly Classes

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

Main Stages (for ages 6-16 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, while at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!

Meet The Team

Principal - Sheri Dickson

Sheri's love of the arts began very young when she first discovered her parent's music collection which she sang and danced to constantly (to the point where several records needed replacing).
She performed in several musical productions in grade school and over the years has continued to sing and dance around to many musical production recordings. As she grew up, Sheri then followed her other love, teaching and has been a teacher for the last 14 years with the Toronto District School Board. Her love of the theatre was reignited when she had the opportunity to join the TDSB theatre group and helped to write as well as perform one of their last productions.  In her years of teaching, and as a parent, Sheri has developed a deeper understanding of how important the Arts are to help children develop essential life skills such as confidence in public speaking and the importance of being a unique individual while also being able to work within a team setting.  She has interjected many of the arts into her daily teaching lessons but is excited to take the next step of being the principal of Bowmanville's Stagecoach.  Sheri plans to continue to have lots of fun, acting, dancing around and singing along with her Stagecoach students!
