Geordie Brown is an award-winning actor, singer, director, creator & music director from Dartmouth, NS. His 20+ year career includes directing Stan Rogers: A Matter of Heart at Neptune Theatre & creating Could I Have This Dance?, the Anne Murray musical. As a performer, he originated the lead role in Jukebox Hero: The Musical in Toronto and recently starred as Mark in Neptune Theatre’s RENT in Halifax. Geordie is a passionate youth advocate & mentor, & is thrilled to join Stagecoach Halifax.

Winter is a versatile performer and educator from Montreal, with a background in theatre and clowning. A Dawson College Professional Theatre graduate, she performed as a clown in Cirque du Soleil’s Juste Une Ptite Nuit and toured Eastern Canada with Shakespeare Canada School Tours. Now based in Halifax, she teaches drama and manages schools at Stagecoach while studying Social Work at Dalhousie University, aiming to empower young performers through the arts.

Nina, originally from Calgary, has lived in Nova Scotia for most of her life. She has been part of Stagecoach for three years as a camp counsellor, Assistant Manager and Early Stages teacher, and has also taught Drama and Dance. A competitive dancer since age three, Nina is trained in multiple dance styles and has completed exams with honours. She loves inspiring young performers and brings her passion for music, Broadway and dance to every class. She also plays guitar, ukulele, flute and piano.

Sarah is a Halifax-based actor and creator, raised in Dartmouth. She is completing her degree at Dalhousie University’s Fountain School of Performing Arts, majoring in Acting with minors in History and Creative Writing. Her experience includes productions with Dalhousie’s Fountain School and the Halifax Fringe Festival. Beyond acting, Sarah is a passionate writer, playwright, director, photographer, designer, and artist.

Jody Connors (she/her) has taught musical theatre for the Daldance Society for three years and competed on Dalhousie’s dance team for four years. Jody grew up dancing and teaching at the Martha Hicks School of Ballet in Toronto, Ontario. She has participated as a cast member and dance captain in six of Theatre De La Salle’s productions. With over five years of musical theatre teaching experience, Jody is excited to continue sharing her love for creative expression with students of all ages!

Meaghan brings over 15 years of pedagogical experience and holds four degrees in music, including master’s degrees in Voice Literature and Performance and Musicology. Her research focuses on Music Performance Anxiety in singers, with conference presentations and journal publications. A versatile performer, she has appeared in opera, musical theatre, and pit orchestras, with roles including Olympia, Lucy van Pelt, and Evangeline.

Red Durand has been passionate about theatre since the age of 7 and has worked professionally in the industry for over 15 years. As a dedicated theatre educator, Red is passionate about creating an inclusive space where children of all abilities can express themselves, build confidence, and discover their place in the performing arts. They are excited to bring their experience, creativity, and love of theatre to their Stagecoach stars!

Sarah is excited to join Stagecoach as a drama teacher! She is in her fourth year at Dalhousie University, studying Acting and History. Her performance credits include Mary Poppins, Oliver!, Spring Awakening, West Side Story and Macbeth. She has also directed Shrek the Musical at Dalhousie. With a growing passion for theatre, Sarah is thrilled to share her creativity, experience and love of performing with Stagecoach students!

Leah Oake, a Halifax-based singer, actor, and dancer from Newfoundland, is pursuing a B.A. in English at Saint Mary’s University. She has acted in productions like The Hobbit, Grease, and Romeo and Juliet, and is the current President of the Drama Society and a writer for the SMU journal. Recently, she has shifted to directing, with credits including Romeo and Juliet and Carrie the Musical. Outside of theatre, Leah enjoys reading and singing Broadway show tunes.

Leah Pritchard is a Halifax-based artist with experience as a professional actor and singer in Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Ontario. She holds a BFA from Memorial University of Newfoundland and was a 2018/19 Young Innovator at Nightwood Theatre. Leah has taught youth theatre programs with Stagecoach and Neptune Theatre, and led Watermark Theatre’s summer conservatory for four years.

Olha is a dedicated dancer with over 10 years of international experience in dance instruction. She began modern dance at age 10 in Ukraine and went on to spend six years as a professional cheerleader in the Ukrainian SuperLeagues. Her performance career has taken her to live shows across Ukraine, Armenia, Poland, China, and Myanmar, bringing a wealth of international experience and passion to her teaching.
