Meet The Team

Principal - Cadence Allen Crawley

Hello! I am so thrilled to be the principal and owner of both Stagecoach Hamilton East and Stagecoach Toronto East. I opened my first Toronto East school in 2012, and have been loving every minute of it! I’m so excited to now be bringing Stagecoach to the community where I live.

My own creative background begins with acting training and has grown to include on-camera roles, theatre acting, directing, and producing credits.  I have a BA in Theatre Studies from Acadia University in Nova Scotia, and studied Meisner Technique at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City. Long before that training though, way back to my pre-teen years, I spent hours and hours in rehearsals, classes and theatre workshops. I created amazing memories, gained invaluable life skills, and made lots of friends, many of whom are still in my life today.

In addition to my professional credits, the other major adventure in my life is motherhood.  My husband-- also a professional performer-- and I have always believed strongly that an arts education is invaluable to the development of a young mind, whether it’s what you choose as your career path or not.  Having two inspiring, curious and creative wee boys in our lives now does nothing but reinforce the idea.

Going to summer drama camps and after-school & weekend rehearsals were the among the best times of my young life. Besides being full of fun and friendship, I can look back on those experiences and see how they helped me learn to work hard and work with a team , to overcome a shy period and to become confident being myself.

That’s why it means so much to me to be able to offer that same kind of experience to young people today…  Creative courage for life.
