What is a triple threat?

In musical theatre, a triple threat is that special someone who can act, sing and dance. Think Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Hugh Jackman, Emma Watson... Let Stagecoach be the start of your child's triple threat journey and see where it might take them!

Meet The Team

Principal - Pierrette LeDrew

I am very excited to introduce the Stagecoach program to the Kitchener-Waterloo region. As an elementary school teacher and a parent, I am a firm believer in the importance and power of movement, play and imagination in the development of children. I incorporate these at home with my children, and at school with my students.
It is as a parent, living in England, that I became involved in the Stagecoach program. My daughter was a student in Main Stages; from the start, I was amazed by the positive impact the program had on her and her school mates. She could not wait to get to Friday evenings, and could not get enough of it. From a shy little girl, she grew into a confident performer who played Storm in a parody of the X-Men series, singing Grease hits in front of a large audience, at 9 years old. She made wonderful friends in the process.
When we moved back to Canada, I was determined to find a similar program for her. But none were available. That’s when I decided to pursue the opportunity to bring Stagecoach to the region. I believe that there is a need for this type of program here, and that it will greatly benefit all children who join us.
Although not a performer, I love the performing arts; I believe that we can learn a lot about others and ourselves through art. I also believe that art can influence society and change the world. Through art, children can grow; they can gain confidence and reach their potential; they can learn more about themselves and others; they can learn to challenge ideas; and they can learn to work together to achieve a common goal.
Stagecoach is all that and more, and I am thrilled to offer the program to the area’s children.
