Stagecoach Performing Arts Vaughan and Richmond Hill offers high-quality acting, singing and dance classes for ages 4–16 in a safe, supportive and inspiring environment. Our weekly classes help students build confidence, creativity and communication while making friends and developing their performance skills. Led by experienced teachers, every child is encouraged to grow at their own pace, both on stage and beyond.
Your child is in safe hands. All of our Team are Police Vulnerable Sector checked.

Meet the team
Meet our Principal
Adrian Dawson brings together a love of performance, a career in leadership and, most importantly, life as a dad. A former radio broadcaster and stand-up comedian, Adrian spent 21 years in operations leadership before becoming Principal of Stagecoach Vaughan & Richmond Hill. He believes performing arts can give young people something bigger than stage skills: the confidence to speak up, take risks, make mistakes, find their voice and develop Creative Courage for Life.

Persephone
Sedgwick
Persephone is an actor, singer and musical theatre performer who graduated from St. Clair College’s Music Theatre Performance program in 2025. Trained in acting, voice and multiple dance styles, her credits include The Wizard of Oz, Cats and the Windsor Symphony’s The Legend of Orpheus. Persephone also has experience working with children and teens in theatre and is passionate about creating a supportive environment where young performers can build skill, creativity and confidence.

Paul Lapointe
Drama
Paul Lapointe is a theatre artist, educator and performance coach with over a decade of experience in stage and screen. He holds a Master’s in Theatre Performance and has trained internationally in acting, stage combat and character development. A Second City Chicago alumnus, Paul brings improvisation, storytelling and ensemble work into his teaching, creating a supportive environment where Stagecoach students can grow in confidence and creativity.

Mar Aylin
Dance
MAR AYLÍN is a Mexican actress, dancer, singer and experienced performing arts teacher. ISTD-certified in jazz and tap, she trained in musical theatre dance under renowned Mexican artists Jacobo Toledo and Juliana Hinojosa. A competition winner in Mexico and the US, Mar earned a Dance Educators of America scholarship to train in New York City. With 20+ years in the performing arts and 15 years teaching, she loves inspiring young performers to sing, dance and shine!

Rachel D’Arpino
Early Stages
Rachel D’Arpino is a recent York University Bachelor of Education graduate, specializing in Performing Arts with a minor in Social Science. Qualified in Primary and Junior education, she works with the York Region Catholic District School Board and joins Stagecoach Early Stages. With experience in numerous productions, including children’s theatre, Rachel is passionate about creating an inclusive environment where students can build creativity and confidence.

Alicia Gallardo
Early Stages Assistant
Alicia Gallardo is a Mexican-born actor with a Bachelor’s Degree in Acting from La Casa del Teatro. She has performed in numerous productions and trained in Hula, Latin and contemporary dance, bringing movement into her storytelling. Alicia also leads theatre workshops for children and has international performance experience with Royal Caribbean Cruises. Now based in Toronto, she is passionate about inspiring young performers through creativity and play.
