Meet The Team

Principal - Amanda Mariani

Hello, and welcome to Stagecoach Westmount-NDG! It is with passion and excitement that Amanda has begun her journey with the Stagecoach family after many years of studying and practising in the field of performing arts. At the age of nine, Amanda discovered her love for singing, playing instruments, and dancing, all of which she went on to practise throughout various stages of her life. After high school, she attended John Abbott College where she completed a DÉC in the Professional Theatre program. Her stage experience at John Abbott includes: Cabaret, Hair, and The Rose Tattoo. This program strengthened her performance skills but also cultivated a sense of creativity, courage, and passion, all of which she brings to her personal and professional lives.

In addition to her title of Principal for Stagecoach Westmount-NDG, Amanda is also a Kindergarten/Elementary Education graduate from McGill University (2012) with many years’ experience teaching various subjects. Teaching everything from Music to French in Québec and English as a Second Language in Dubai, she has continued to build her knowledge of the education system and is now very excited to combine it with her passion for the performing arts. Having observed and reflected on different teaching practices throughout the world, Amanda has gathered tools and strategies that she is excited to implement with all of her Stagecoach students and staff!
